4 Stars! Sawyer is book seven in Nicole Edwards’ Alluring Indulgence series. This series is hot as fuck as we watch each of the Walker men succumb to passion and love. I have truly come to love this series and each time a new book is released and I pick it up, it truly does feel like coming home. I know I will be spending time with characters that I have fallen in love with and I definitely expect greatness each and every time. I have truly come to love this series and each time a new book is released and I pick it up, it truly does feel like coming home. I know I will be spending time with characters that I have fallen in love with and I definitely expect greatness each and every time. This is a book about the second oldest Walker brother and the one who I think is the most reserved and responsible. He may have been known as the wild boy who could not be tamed by any woman; however, it seems he was just waiting for the right opportunity to snap up the woman who has been under his skin for longer than he would care to admit. Thirty-four year old Sawyer Walker and thirty-three year old Kennedy Endsley have known each other since their school days. You would think that the pair would be close friends considering the fact that they go way back. Nope. Kennedy has never forgotten how miserably treated she was by Sawyer’s friends in high school while Sawyer sat back and did nothing. Kennedy leaves Coyote Ridge to go to school to become a veterinarian with every intention of one day returning to her small town. When she finally does return the nerdy girl from high school is long gone and in her place is a more confident, smart and feisty red-head who will never again let bullies get the better of her. “He wanted the one damn woman who wouldn’t give him the time of day. That was all there was to it.” ***** “Kennedy considered herself a smart woman. After all, she had a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Texas A & M. so what the hell was her problem when she looked at this man?” Ever since Kennedy’s return to Coyote Ridge, Sawyer can’t help but be drawn to the beautiful red-head with a passion for animals. For eight years he has made his attraction known only to be turned down for his efforts every single time. Kennedy will not give him the time of day. She has never forgotten the emotional pain she suffered at the hands of Sawyer’s friends and the fact that Sawyer laughed and stood on the sidelines. Somewhere deep inside her the timid and nerdy girl she once was still resides there. Trusting Sawyer is not something she thinks she could do, especially given the fact that he is known for his lothario ways. Kennedy is looking for that special someone who ignites a passion within her, someone to spend the rest of her life with. Sawyer just does not fit that bill. But damn if Sawyer is not hell bent on proving to her that she can trust him and give him a chance. And damn if she can’t help but get all hot and bothered every time the sexy cowboy comes her way. This was a sweet and sexy romance about a hot cowboy in pursuit. I loved how determined Sawyer was, especially once he discovered that Kennedy was not as unaffected by him as she tried to let on. Kennedy was a wonderful heroine. Yes, she had been hurt in the past but when push came to shove she was brave enough to start something with Sawyer. When the pair finally got together, in true Nicole Edwards fashion there were sexual explosions. Loved it! All in all, Sawyer was a wonderful installment to this series I can’t seem to get enough of. I do recommend reading this series in sequential order as each story more or less flows into one another despite the fact that each book highlights a different Walker brother. I love how Ms. Edwards revisits all of the characters in each book and we get to see how their lives are progressing. This is one of the key elements that makes this series so wonderfully addicting. I truly enjoyed seeing Sawyer finally land his woman. It was heart-warming, frustrating, sexy and passionate. All that it should be when we are in the throes of fervent love.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Sawyer's story. While he and Kennedy both were wonderful individually and together, Something was lacking in their story. I found myself skimming pages. It was great to get updates about the rest of the brothers and their families, unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep me truly engaged with this book.

Sawyer was the seventh book in Nicole Edwards Alluring Indulgence series. Edwards had been providing teasers in several previous books for Sawyer and Kennedy Endsley. We knew Kennedy avoided Sawyer like the plague but we didn’t know why until now. The two grew up in the same town and in the same class but they were never friends. It was a unique second chance perspective. In current day, Kennedy was beautiful, smart, confident, and successful. However, when she was younger, she was bullied due to her awkward and geekiness. As a result, she was driven to success as sweet revenge to the small town she grew up in. Sawyer noticed her upon her return, but Kennedy refused to have anything to do with him and kept her childhood memories as a reminder why he should be held at bay. The storyline focused on the cat/mouse chase and the relationship development but Edwards also provided a few secondary storylines for depth. One plot focused on Kennedy’s dad so I’m hoping we’ll see more from him in a future book - possibly in the spin off Coyote Ridge series. Until then, Edwards set the stage well for the final Walker sibling, Brendon. We finally get Brendon and Cheyenne’s story and I have high expectations!

I liked this book. But it wasn't what I was expecting. In my eyes Sawyer was a little bit different. In the previous books he was depicted as little wild and a free spirit. I was hoping to see someone like that in this book. Throughout the whole book was waiting for something to happen. It was the story, but somehow the blank story. “You’re the only flavor I want, Kennedy. The only fucking flavor I’ve wanted for a long fucking time.” Okay, actually it was a good book. Unfortunately this one was boring. Too much inner dialogue. After 8 years of wanting her ,they get together and say I Love You within like 3 weeks. For me this series peaked with Ethan and hasn't refound its magic. -+

My Review: This may be #7 in this series, but this is the first book I've read by this author. Overall, I really enjoyed it and definitely plan to check out some of the others from the series. Although he was somewhat of a bully to Kennedy in school, when it came to his brothers, he's always been the responsible caretaker. I had a hard time understanding those two completely different sides to his personality. But it also should be noted that Sawyer was a bully in high school...20 years ago. He's a man now and a different person. But for Kennedy, she's never forgotten that boy who stood by and laughed with his friends at her torment. That's not something she can forget easily even though it's been a long time. It's really hard for her to trust him. It certainly doesn't help that his exploits with many, many, many women over the years are fairly infamous. She doesn't want to be one of the many. She's not a one-night stand kind of girl. But that's not what Sawyer wants either. I liked this book just in that Sawyer is so reformed in his thinking because he knows that's what it's going to take to win Kennedy and he really wants to win just a chance to prove he's a better man now. Because things are different for him with how he feels about Kennedy. I enjoyed their whole backstory. She's been burned before by him, so you can't blame her for not trusting him, no matter how drawn she is to him and what he's proposing. I also enjoyed the whole family aspect of this. I love the seven brothers. Talk about a great dynamic. I really loved the scenes between the brothers and their obvious support of each other. It definitely made me want to catch up on the rest of the books from the series. Overall I enjoyed this book, but I'll be honest, I think the author missed some great opportunities to really increase the emotional tension in the book. Instead of choosing the emotional depth, she used those opportunities for another hot sex scene. And yes, I get that this is an erotic romance, but I would have liked to have had those hot sex scenes along WITH the heavy emotional scenes, too. I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Sawyer however doesn't give up that easy and he has slowly worn her down. They were perfect for each other, they both have changed since high school Kennedy is not the nerdy serious girl that she was in high school and Sawyer was not the boy that he used to be although he is still funny in that make a joke to lighten the mode way. These two had a few issues Kennedy knows all about his one night stands and threesomes with his best friend and the fact that he has been with half the women in town, she doesn't want her heart broken. When these two hooked up it was hot the sex scenes in this book was so much better in this book than in the last one. I also like how the Walker family has grown with most of the brother's being married and having babies especially my favorite trio Travis, Gage, and Kylie having there baby girl and V and Zane having one. This was a very well written book (read) as I listened to it on audio. I was surprised about the bartender and the sheriff overall I really liked Sawyer. Sawyer Kennedy

This would have been a solid 5 star for me if it had just been Kennedy and Sawyer's story as it was there were a few things that knocked it down for me. I really loved seeing the changes in Sawyer in this book. The scene where Sawyer walks Kennedy through his club really pissed me off not only at the whores but at Sawyer. I would think if you want someone to trust you then you need to put a stop to that behavior not just ignore it and let every whore who crosses your path cop a feel of your junk. Sawyer really never redeemed himself for me after that, while I believe he could be trusted he just didn't give enough proof for me, who would want to know that their man might just let that happen when he walks through his place of business at any given time...not this bitch. I don't know I felt like more should have been said about that not happening again or some kind of resolution. At this point after this book Brendon is the biggest pussy unlike any of the other Walkers and quite frankly I don't like him. His ridiculous behavior in Braydon's book annoyed me and he didn't get any better in this one, I actually don't understand why we had to read so much about him in this one much less any of his inner thoughts. Then that tidbit in the epilogue, I just wanted to smack him in the head and Braydon too. Other than those two things, the only other complaint was way too much inner thoughts to skim through. Especially since Kennedy and Sawyer's inner thoughts were pretty much the same thing over and over and over. If not for those things this would have been perfect although I have to say it still wouldn't top Ethan's book but it would have been close, only Ethan's and Travis' books top this one for me.

His time has arrived and whilst it's not quite my favourite of the series (Travis continues to hold that title) it's still a great addition. “You’re the only flavor I want, Kennedy. The only f***ing flavor I’ve wanted for a long f***ing time.” It takes some warming up. The first half is full of build up and introduces us to Kennedy's family life and we see plenty from the Walkers. She and Sawyer have known each other most of their lives, and as will become clear when you read it, there's a reason that Kennedy refuses to be charmed by Sawyer. But resistance is futile because the man can woo and when this book hits the half way mark, Sawyer shows us what he is truly capable of. And I still bloody love him. If you're a fan of the Alluring Indulgence series you won't be disappointed. Nicole Edwards has brought us another great couple and let the countdown to Brendon's book begin. Put the tissues on standby; he's the last Walker brother standing and it will no doubt be emotional. 4.5 stars.

Paige I love the series but Sawyer and Kennedy’s story didn’t work for me. They played the cat and mouse tag game for 8 looong years. The push pull was exhausting as it represented the first half of the book. During this time, Sawyer slept with a plethora of women, had threesomes with his friend Greyson, opened up a sex club all while pining for Kennedy. Through the years, Kennedy seemed to live her life as a nun. She didn’t have any friends and if she wasn’t working she was at home or with her dad. She did have a relationship that lasted a few years but it fizzled out without a true reason why. Don’t fear for Kennedy because she eventually falls for the Walker charm. Once they decided to begin their courtship it was pretty much sex non-stop. Nicole can write some pretty steamy scenes and didn’t fail to bring the heat with the pair. I did think at times Sawyer came off a tad smarmy. I’m looking forward to Brendon and Cheyenne.

Acceptance, Love, and Family... I'm a big fan of the Walker Family, not just the sexy brothers, but the parents and kids too. We get the full package with family dinners every Sunday. I think the author has been stringing us along, making us wait, building the anticipation. It worked. Of course the tall, sexy, muscled cowboy who could have almost any woman he wanted without even trying would fall for the one that had been giving him the cold shoulder for years. He made no secret of the fact that he wanted her, and she made no secret of the fact that he was wasting his time. However; Kennedy's mind and her body were not in agreement. While her lips were saying 'No' her eyes were saying 'Yes'. That's what kept Sawyer from completely giving up hope that someday he could convince her that he had changed and was worth taking a chance on. Overhearing him discuss a threesome with his best friend Greyson at the next table was not exactly the best way to do that though...smh. It was interesting to learn that Sawyer and Kennedy had grown up in the same town and were classmates. It's a small town so there's not much that EVERYONE doesn't know. That makes it kinda hard to grow up, and convince others that you have, when they've seen or heard about every bad decision. I enjoyed the mental dialogue almost as much as the verbal when Sawyer considered dipping himself in chocolate to get her attention. (giggle-snort). Get ready for a fun, sexy, and sweet read. What are we going to do when we run out of Walker brothers? I'll worry about that later, right now I've still got a cranky twin that needs to find love and I can't wait to get my hands on that book. The line forms here...

The Walker family has taken up residence in my heart and will likely live there forever. Sawyer opens with a note from the author to the reader; one that I think truly sets a wonderful tone for the book. Many of us have been waiting patiently (ok sometimes not so patiently) for the second oldest Walker man to have their story told. I know I personally fell in love with Sawyer as I read Ethan; Sawyer’s role in the events of Ethan’s past truly had him taking up residence in my heart. Ok so this book tells the story of you guessed it - Sawyer Walker. Sawyer and Kennedy Endsley, the daughter of the sheriff of Coyote Ridge. Coyote Ridge is a small town that Ms. Edwards vividly brings to life for the reader. In this one, I loved the play on the small town as it touched the story in many ways. Sawyer and Kennedy did go to high school together and from the moment you open this book, you know their past affects their future (nope not telling read the book). This books starts in the present day and immediately reminded me why I adore this series; the Walkers brother’s banter is epic. “What’s wrong?” “I forgot to call everyone and find out where they were, what they were doing, and when they’d be here. Sorry, bro. Apparently, I’m falling down on the job.” And the football banter with the twins is epic. Nope not the sports related; trust me you will know it when you read it. Sawyer deciding he wants Kennedy and pursuing her made me smile. I loved his determination and watching him want her reminded me why I love this series and the Walker men! “You’re the only flavor I want, Kennedy. The only f&cking flavor I’ve wanted for a long f&cking time.” Sawyer truly wants Kennedy to get to know him; to learn to trust him. He even takes her on a tour of the resort and although his attempt does not turn out the way he expected, I truly loved that he wanted Kennedy to know his world. I love how the reader was painted a beautiful picture of the Alluring Indulgence resort and they truly got to appreciate the accomplishments of the Walker men. Now AI plays another role in this story, one that feels so true to what a resort like that could mean to someone. This element of the story, one I will not reveal, was masterfully layered into the story. Sheriff Endsley, Jeff, Kennedy’s dad has some amazing scenes in this book. I wish I could tell you why I hope this man gets his own book but that would ruin it for the reader so I will simply say I hope Jeff gets his happy. Ms. Edwards wove a wonderful story line about Jeff into this Kennedy’s past and present! Ms. Edwards has truly crafted Coyote Ridge into a place that feels real. So I will add to my list of stories that I would love to read (my mental list of books I would like this author to write): Mack the bartender from Moonshiners and Jared Walker, the Walker’s cousin, Curtis’ nephew who returned home in “Ethan” and whose story is further expanded in this book. Oh and one more request since I am in asking mode… Curtis Walker please…. there is a 10 year age gap between Lorrie and Curtis’ marriage and the birth of Travis and I so want to know the story here! In the end, the happy that Sawyer and Kennedy find was truly a happy worth waiting for. I am so torn as I write this, I am so very excited for Brendon (Alluring Indulgence book 8) but a bit sad as it is the end of one of my favorite series. Thank you, Ms. Edwards for a wonderful family saga and for allowing me a few hours to live in the town of Coyote Ridge.

“Sawyer wasn’t quite sure just what he’d done to warrant Kennedy taking him up on his dare, but he wasn’t going to argue. Maybe he’d been good in a former life or something because he knew he sure hadn’t been good in this one. Sawyer Walker has grown up a lot over the years and now he is finally ready to “Sawyer wasn’t quite sure just what he’d done to warrant Kennedy taking him up on his dare, but he wasn’t going to argue. Sawyer Walker has grown up a lot over the years and now he is finally ready to tame his wild boy ways. From the moment I read the epilogue in Ethan I knew that Kennedy and Sawyer’s story was going to be epic. I knew there must be some good back story there because why else would anyone ever turn down a Walker. “She was liquid fire in his arms and he knew from that moment on, he was going to have a damn hard time keeping his hands off her.” Sawyer starts off back in high school where Sawyer and his friends made life very unbearable for slightly nerdy Kennedy. She was determined to fulfill her dreams and then come back to town and show them all what she was made of. And boy she did exactly that, ever since her return, 8 years ago, Sawyer has been drawn to her and has never once tried to hide it. Now all he has to do is convince Kennedy to trust him and give him a chance. “No, for the first time in his life, Sawyer wasn’t willing to share. Even the thought of another man’s eyes on her made his inner beast stand up and roar. He hadn’t realized he had a possessive bone in his body until it came to thoughts of Kennedy. She was off-limits to anyone else.” Sawyer, for me, was right up there with Travis as far as my favorite Nicole Edwards books go. I thoroughly enjoyed that Sawyer and Kennedy had a rocky past and that he really had to prove to her that he has changed and is finally ready to settle down. Kennedy is a strong woman and not one who easily trusts. She has been hurt a lot in the past, some by Sawyer, and needs to work on her own issues before this things between them could ever be real. “Truth is, that night, I decided to go after what I wanted with guns blazing.” “Which is?” “You.” Nicole Edwards’ book always deliver a big punch of sexiness with a story that grabs you from page one. The Walker brothers are a group of men that every red hot American woman wants and the women who grab them are as lucky as they come. What I enjoy most about these boys is that they are fiercely loyal and protective both of their women and their family as a whole. The bond between them and their parents is refreshing and I cannot wait for more. “Kennedy knew then and there that he was hell-bent on driving her crazy. But what he didn’t realize . . . she was more than ready for that ride.” Whether you have already read this series or you are grabbing this one as a standalone I can promise that you will love these characters and all that they go through to get what is truly most important to them . . . a chance at love. ~miranda

Sawyer's never had trouble with the ladies, but Kennedy is making him work for it. He's sure she is worth it though, so he's putting his all into breaking down her resistance...and making her his. Argh, I FLOVE this series!!! It's absolutely, positively one of my favorites, and I was dying for this book. D.Y.I.N.G. Because Sawyer - irreverent, charming, protective Sawyer - has made me laugh, smile and swoon in turn throughout the course of the first six books, and this one was no different. Well, except for the fact it was basically all Sawyer, all the time. And that kinda made it perfection... Kennedy and Sawyer were sensational in their cat-and-mouse game; Kennedy trying to ignore him and put him off, Sawyer trying to prove he was on the up-and-up and worthy of her attentions. I loved his persistence and her inability to shut him down once and for all. I loved their little moments together before they started to figure it out, when he was charming and she was immune...or so she thought. And holy hell, when they finally figured it out?! Hot. So hot. So very, very HOT. There was a good amount of story here. It was easy enough to make Sawyer an enjoyable and quick read, with enough tension to keep me turning the pages. I loved the secondary story with Kennedy's father, as well as the set-up for the long-awaited (and much desired, especially after all that happened in Braydon), Brendon. I can't wait for more of these brothers -- and I'd be lying if I didn't say that I am also hoping for stories for their cousins and friends too (*cough Greyson and Jared cough*). Sawyer may be my favorite brother, but all of these good ol' boys have a place in my heart and on my Kindle. Sawyer is the seventh book in the Alluring Indulgence series and can be read standalone, but you'd be missing out if you skipped the earlier books. ~ Beth, 5 stars

Like all of the Alluring Indulgence books I think it's safe to say that myself like most people have fallen in love with the Walker Boys. I mean let's face it we have been with this family since Kaleb and the Walker Christmas and New Years! Yes Nicole had the gall to make her readers wait for the most popular of the brothers with one left to go...Brendon. Though not to worry I'm sure his story will be worth waiting for also. Sawyer's story is what everyone has been waiting for Sawyer and Kennedy. I can't begin to say this..."Thank The Lord". Sawyer knew from the minute he ran into Kennedy at Moonshiners years later after she came back home to open her veterinarian office that he was going to have her. Kennedy...nah not into you Sawyer for all the rotten things that you did to her in high school. Do you really think a woman forgets. Never! And so the story goes with Sawyer trying is damnedest to get Kennedy to go out with him let alone even look at him. Does Kennedy bend and finally give Sawyer a chance..Well what do you think it's a Nicole Edwards book of course she eventually does. But I have to tell you Kennedy is no push over and she does give Sawyer a little run for his money. So if you love the Walker Brothers and you love the Alluring Indulgence series you can't pass up reading Sawyer.

This is part of the Alluring Indulgence series but, can be read as a standalone. When Kennedy Endsley comes back to town, Sawyer Walker is blown away; she definitely isn’t same girl that went away after high school. As part owner of an Adult Resort he is use to living playboy life, but this one girl makes him want to more. Kennedy has a hard time forgetting the way Sawyer treated her in high school and with him owning a “sex club” and being the town playboy, she wants nothing to do with him. But really, how long can she resist the charms of this loveable, sexy cowboy? I loved Sawyer’s cowboy swagger and persistence with Kennedy. Their chemistry, even when she was fighting it, was off the charts. Their back and forth kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more. The family aspect of this book was amazing, I loved the whole Walker clan and the father/daughter moments between Sheriff Endsley and his daughter were written with amazing emotion. If you’re looking for a book with a little bit of everything, this is it! 5 stars for Sawyer and I can’t wait to read more form Nicole Edwards! Reviewed by Tonya Nichols @ Eye Candy Bookstore

This might be my favorite book of the series. I love Sawyer and was so glad to finally read his story. And when he realizes that he's not into the one night stands any longer, he ups the pressure and Kennedy finally caves. These two are on fire together. I loved how Sawyer pursued her, and how Kennedy responded to him. It was also great to read about the rest of the Walker clan and their escapades.

I don't know if there will ever be a NE's book that I dislike. I love the Walker Brothers, and I love every story Nicole writes about them. This book about Sawyer was really good, I have loved him from the beginning, the sign....lol!! I wanted him to find love, and who better than Kennedy! I loved her!! I found a lot of reviews about this book, people were complaining....I think Nicole was just trying to set us up for the next book. I didn't mind that in this book, I didn't find it to much. I'm so disappointed in this book. I didn't feel any chemistry between the two main characters, in fact the first half of the book read like a YA read and not the smoking hot books earlier in this series. It's probably just me, but I feel like the writing has really changed. This wasn't near as steamy, the dialogue was lacking real emotion and the characters were just flat.

Now this should be interesting story to see if he is still running behind Kennedy because as Mama Walker said the new year will bring changes in Swayer and I am hoping that it will be to win the girl.

I have t o admit I’ve been waiting (and not so patiently) for Sawyer’s book. This book was so worth the wait! Ms. Edwards has an amazing gift of writing stories that are gripping and emotional. Her characters are completely consuming and let’s not forget the sex. She sure can write scenes that will have you hot, your panties wet (YEP I SAID IT) and every now and again you might experience a JJBO (Josie and Jodie book orgasm). I love how Ms. Edwards is not afraid of going to places that some might feel is “risky”. Sawyer’s books touches on issues that are happening in the world today. For example bullying, sexual preferences, prejudice and ridicule. The book is told in the present but Ms. Edwards take readers back into the past so readers can understand the dynamics of Hannah and Sawyer’s complicated, heated and intense relationship. Sawyer Walker can have any woman he wants and no one has ever complained or told him no, but Hannah. Sawyer has always wanted Hannah but she ignores him every chance she gets. Sawyer has forgotten how Hannah was treated in school but she has not. Back then, Sawyer would stand around and watch as kids, even his own friends would target her. Hannah was smart and was looked upon as a nerd. She never paid attention to what was going on around her and that is when they would strike. Sawyer never did anything to help her even though he would feel guilty about it. Little did he know years later the past would be what kept her from wanting to know the new Sawyer. “Go out with me.” “Can’t do it, not today, not tomorrow. Not ever.” “Why? You don’t trust me? What have I done to make you not trust me?” “Remember high school? I’ll never give in.” “Seems that’s where you’re wrong. You’ll eventually give in.” Hannah hated Sawyer and his friends. She never understood what she did to draw their attention but once a week she became their target. Something that was always stuck with her. Sawyer might not have played those cruel jokes on her but he was always quick to laugh. He was just as guilty as they were. She promised that one day she would show that town, show them what a Kennedy is really made of and she would have the last laugh. Last laugh indeed, after years away from Coyote Ridge she was no longer that nerdy girl when she left. Hannah has grown up. She’s no longer that four-eyed and mousy girl. She is smoking hot and Sawyer’s target. The banter and build up between Sawyer and Hannah was intriguing, funny and entertaining. Sawyer went after Hannah with everything he had. And let me tell you his womanizing past and sexual frequent threesomes with his friend Greyson did not make things easy for him. Try and Try as Hannah might to keep him at arms-length, the more Sawyer pursued her the more she could not deny she wanted him. Sawyer was not prepared for the surprises Hannah would bring to the table. “You’re the one I want, I don’t pretend to be a saint, never have. But I can tell you that there has never been a single woman who has come even remotely close to making me feel what you make me feel.” “I assume we’re not talking about just sex here.” “Honey we’re so far past just sex, I can’t even see it anymore.” Those Walker Boys and their charm, NO WOMAN can resist. So of course he gets Hannah to give in, and just as their relationship was intense in the past so is their new found relationship. “You’re the only flavor I want, Kennedy. The only fu*king flavor I wanted for a long fu*king time.” “Fu*k me, right here.” I’ve dreamed of watching you come, Kennedy. That’s it, darling. Fu*k yes. Yes, baby. Come for me again. Milk my cock, Kennedy.” The relationship is not easy for them. They have to deal with Hannah’s trust issues and Sawyer’s very sordid past. Sawyer makes things clear that the pact he made with Greyson was over the minute Hannah paid attention to Sawyer. He was not willing to give her up for anyone not even Greyson. We get to see all the Walkers and see where life has taken them. Surprises and additions to the Walker family as well. The Alluring Indulgence Ranch is open and caters to the fantasies and privacy of people who enter the ranch. That is until someone reveals two members sexual preference. Member of the community will become cruel, vindictive and lash out. Sawyer and the Walker brothers are determined to find out who the snitch is. Friendships will be tested as well as relationships. Can Hannah and Walker weed their way into a Happily ever After despite their troubles pasts? Grab this book, you will not be sorry. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next in this series.

Throughout the whole series of Alluring Indulgence we have gotten a little glimpse of Sawyer and I was very happy to finally have his story in my hands. Just like all the Walker brothers before him he is a sexy cowboy that is looking for love. For me his character seemed manlier than the other Walker brothers, minus Travis (hello Manly Travis). Sawyer is charismatic and sexy and every bit the alpha cowboy that seems to be a gene that is found in all their blood. Behind the hard exterior and chiseled features he has a sweet and romantic side that shines brightly in his story. He is stubborn and strong willed and doesn’t give up easily. He will continue to pursue what he wants until he has it firmly in his grasp. After longing over the same girl for almost the last decade he finally decides that enough is enough and he is ready to make his move. And one thing you will notice about Sawyer is once he puts his mind to something he goes after it come hell or high water, and he will get it. I can’t get over how much of a family man, all the Walker brothers are. Sawyer especially, he just seemed to be the go to man that everyone went to with their problems and he wanted to fix them all. Now his biggest problem is his own, and it comes in the package of a fiery redhead who haunts his dreams at night and makes him long for things he never knew he wanted. Kennedy is not the same girl he knew from high school. She is all grown up and sexier than ever. The problem is, is she looks at Sawyer like she is ready to chop his balls off and feed them to the wolves. Although he finds that trait of hers rather sexy, after so many years of their little song and dance he has finally decided to go balls to the wall and take what he wants. Sawyer wants Kennedy badly. Kennedy’s character was very lovable for me. She is sweet and passionate and just a true genuine person. She never let the small things in her life stop her from reaching her goals. She lives her life the way she wants and doesn’t do much outside of work. She is a very strong willed character that is goal orientated and career driven. She has her whole life mapped out for herself. The one problem is, is that the one person who has the potential of ruining her, and is the one person she can’t stop thinking about. Sawyer Walker is the bane of her existence and after everything he put her through in high school she wants nothing more to hate the man until the day they bury her in the ground, however, she has this little voice inside her that tells her she wants so much more than that. She wants him like she has never wanted anyone before and there lies the problem. The battle of wits between Kennedy and Sawyer were amusing to watch. I knew whenever those 2 got into a room together the sarcasm and witty comments firing back and forth between them left me in a fit of laughter. It was plain to see their lust for one another and how they would basically undress each other with their eyes, however, Sawyer decided to play it cool and poor Kennedy decided to lie to herself some more. Sawyer is a determined man – did I already tell you that? And well he breaks her down and when that happens and the fireworks finally go off there is no going back. Crazy hot passionate sex would put their sex life mildly. Nicole Edwards has a way with writing sex scenes and she didn’t disappoint in Sawyers book either. Not only did we see the alpha dominant side of Sawyer and let me tell you I thought my kindle was going to melt from the fire but I also got to see the sweet and romantic side of him as well. Put it this way – I will never look at honey the same way – who knew there are so many different ways to eat the sweet sticky stuff. Beside the fire burning sex they always seem to be having there is still that little voice in the back of Kennedy’s mind telling her that one day he will get tired of the same woman and leave her high and dry and break her heart. Is it possible for Kennedy to fully trust Sawyer not to break her? Will Sawyer prove her right or wrong and show her exactly what he wants? Read and find out but one thing is for sure Sawyer Walker has gotten free admission into my spank bank. Great addition to the Alluring Indulgence series Nicole. Can’t wait to find out about Brendon and Cheyenne!

If there's one thing readers have learned about Sawyer Walker in the first 6 books of Nicole Edwards' Alluring Indulgence series, it's that he's willing to work for anything - food, sex, his family...there isn't anything that Sawyer couldn't/wouldn't do at least once;) And when it comes to finding the one person for himself...the one person who can complete his life in a way that his work, his adventures, even his family can't accomplish, he'll willingly put himself out there in order to prove t If there's one thing readers have learned about Sawyer Walker in the first 6 books of Nicole Edwards' Alluring Indulgence series, it's that he's willing to work for anything - food, sex, his family...there isn't anything that Sawyer couldn't/wouldn't do at least once;) And when it comes to finding the one person for himself...the one person who can complete his life in a way that his work, his adventures, even his family can't accomplish, he'll willingly put himself out there in order to prove to her that he's so much more than the superficial asshole that he once was. Kennedy Endsley knows all about the Walker brothers, especially Sawyer. In high school, Sawyer was friends with all of the immature boys who made her life a living hell, and while Sawyer never was the one to instigate the bullying, he didn't do anything to stop the torment, solidifying Sawyer's spot in her asshole category. And, even now, 8 years later, Kennedy's not willing to give him the time of day regardless of how much her body yearns to be touched by him. Kennedy still sees him as the superficial manwhore he once was, refusing to accept that he could have grown up and changed into a man she would willingly want to be around. Scars like the ones Kennedy wears are not easy to shed, and even though she's made something of herself and kept her vow to show the people of Coyote Ridge just what she's made of, the only thing she can remember is the way Sawyer and his friends made her feel day in and day out all those years ago. One thing about Nicole Edwards' writing that I love is the way she develops her characters and provides readers with a multi-dimensional view of who they are at their core. Sawyer has always been presented as the protector of the Walker family - the carefree guy who does whatever it takes to take care of those he loves. We still get that in his book, but we also see that Sawyer is so much more than that; just like every other Walker brother, he's dynamic and flawed and allows people to only see so much beneath his life of the party persona, which is absolutely why Kennedy kept her distance for all those years and refused to give him the time of day. Another amazing aspect of the Alluring Indulgence series is that it is a Walker family affair in each and every book. Yes, there is a central Walker man and the woman and/or man he wants to claim, but each and every member of the Walker family plays a pivotal role in the development of the story line, whether it's in the advice they give or their interaction/connection with the couple - the bond shared amongst the Walker clan adds such depth to the text that without them, it definitely wouldn't allow for the same feelings to be felt regardless of the main characters. Sawyer is another phenomenal read from the creative and entertaining mind of Nicole Edwards. This book is so much more than your run of the mill romance; it addresses issues that a lot of writers shy away from or only gloss over, and the hot sex is not merely there is entice readers - it illustrates the connection of the characters and the feelings that are just waiting to be said out loud. With Brendon being the only Walker brother left, I'm anxious to see where Nicole Edwards is going to take the Walker family - maybe to their cousins? Wherever they go, I'm there! I honestly had no idea what this series was about, or even the genre when going into this one. This was full of firsts for me. Aside from my first Nicole Edwards book, this was my first book with so many diverse backgrounds amongst characters, and my first book about a cowboy who owns a sex resort. It definitely didn't disappoint. Sawyer is a charming, former playboy who has his eyes and heart set on the one woman who wants nothing to do with him. Kennedy Endsley is a former nerd turned bombshell vetrinarian who has no intentions of ever giving into her attraction to the man who took part in making her highschool experience miserable. I loved the build up of this romance. These two were sweet, had great chemistry, and I enjoyed their witty banter towards one another. There was no instalove here. Sawyer had to work hard to get the girl. This book was also scorching hot! I tend to skim sex scenes in books (OH, THE HORROR!), but I'd be lying if I didn't say I was glued to every word. As I stated earlier this is a standalone. With that said I will mention that the series is about 7 brothers, and this is a close knit family. When you throw in all the significant others and thier children it can be hard to keep up with who is who. I'm not sure if the family plays such a central part in every book, or if the author uses these lovable characters as a way to give readers of the previous books bonus scenes. Despite getting the names jumbled up from time to time, I adored this family. They defintiely added some humor and drama to the story. I'm interested in catching up on some of the previous books in the series to get to know some of theim better, especially Travis and his family. I recommend this read to those who love swoonworthy, contemporary romances with a slow build followed by a heavy dose of steam.

The best thing about the Walkers are their acceptance of others. The love who you love without judgement and the fierce way they protect each other is very heart warming. The parents are inspirational, if only everyone had folks like them, no kid would feel abandoned. This family just gets under your skin, I find myself rereading the other books a lot. I loved Sawyers book. He is the happy go lucky one in the family. He is the protector of his brothers. He has played it fast and loose with women, and has spent more than a few nights sharing women with his best friend Grayson. But he has had his heart set on the one he couldn't have for over 8 years. He has watched his brothers settling down and starting families and he wants that. Being in his mid thirties, the love 'em and leave 'em routine is getting old. He wants something more. And Kennedy Endsley is the one he wants. Unfortunately, they grew up together and when they were in high school, Sawyer and his jock friends were mean and bullied Kennedy because she was book smart and geeky. When she came home from college, she was a bombshell. But hurt lingers deep, and she could not forgive Sawyer. She knew he had changed, but she also did not want to be a notch on his belt seeing as he had screwed most of the women around there. She wants to be treated special, not a one nighter. Sawyer has his hands full convincing Kennedy that he is in it for the long haul. Other secrets come to light about the favorite people around them. And Travis, Kylie, and Gage are expecting their first child as well. The updates on the other Walkers are as much fun to read about as the two main characters. This book is just as great as the others in this series, so if you are a fan, you will not be disappointed! Only 1 of the twins is left unattached. I am not sure what I will do when this series comes to an end. There is a day I am not looking forward to. These hunky cowboys are just too yummy!
